Rambling Angler Outdoors began more than 30 years ago when I was building custom fly rods and tying flies to sell. After leaving the Army I moved to Alaska as a helicopter mechanic. I built rods and tied flies and sold to B&B's and people I met. I started www.ramblingangler.com and began writing content for it. I also began writing for magazines and became a full time outdoor writer. I also started designing and building websites. Our mission is to communicate our American Traditions and the outdoor lifestyle through information and products.
